We want to ensure your SFTP Gateway instance is fully supported and up to date, especially since we will no longer support Version 2 after December 31 of this year.
As circled in red in the image below, the version number for your SFTP Gateway instance is displayed at the bottom of the screen when you are in the application. It’s that simple.
You’re all set as long as your version begins with a 3. If your version begins with a 2 or below, we strongly encourage you to continue reading this email as big changes are coming.
What Should You Do Next If You’re Not On Version 3
Version 2 will begin transitioning to end-of-life (EOL) as of December 31, 2024. You have three options as this date approaches if you don’t want to perform the migration yourself:
- Upgrade to Version 3: Our team can provide you with a custom migration plan and a discount on SFTP Gateway Professional Version 3 throughout 2025, if you commit by December 31, 2024. This includes continued support for Version 2 until your migration is complete. Email sales@thorntech.com to get your custom plan.
- Extended Support for Version 2: If you need more time to migrate, you can purchase Extended Support for Version 2, allowing you to receive support through June 30, 2025. Contact us at sales@thorntech.com for more information on Extended Support.
- Take No Action: You can continue using Version 2, but support will no longer be available after December 31, 2024. You will be responsible for troubleshooting any issues you experience.
